Instructions
1: Combine your minced shrimp, 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1/2 tbsp chicken powder, 1/2 black pepper, 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1/2 tsp MSG. Set aside. 2: In a 3 qt pot, fill it 1/2 way with water and bring to boil. 3: Once the water boils, slowly add your minced shrimp mixture using a spoon to form small shrimp balls. 4: After 2-3 minutes, the shrimp will cook. Skim off the foam at the top of the broth and remove. 5: Add your cubed wintermelon into the broth and allow to cook for 15 minutes. 6: Taste and season the broth with an additional 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp chicken powder, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/3 tsp MSG. 7: Garnish with green onions. 8: Serve hot with a side of rice.View original recipe
